• $17 per machine.

Flash Drive for Media for Faculty and Staff ($70 each): Information Technology is providing SAS installation software on 32 GB flash drives for $70 each. Each flash drive holds one version. Please indicate the number of flash drives desired for each version of SAS in the space provided below.

Flash Drive for Media for Students (included in license purchase): Information Technology is providing SAS installation software on 32 GB flash drives with the purchase of a full version of SAS. Each flash drive holds one version (either 9.1.3 or 9.2 32-bit or 9.2 64-bit). Please indicate the number of flash drives desired for each version of SAS in the space provided below.

Depots (Departments only): An external hard drive containing depots of installation software for all three versions of the SAS software (SAS 9.1.3, 9.2 32-bit and 9.2 64-bit) is available free of charge for departmental checkout for three days from Statistical Software Sales. This depot can be used to install the software to a machine or copied to a network drive for installation on multiple machines. The software may be installed on a server only as an installation point and may not be metered or run from the server.

License Period October 1 to September 30
In exchange for granting me the right to possess and use a copy of the copyrighted Institute Program Products on personal computers or workstations (hereinafter "Software"). I agree that:

1. Use of the Software is governed by the License Agreement entered into by SAS Institute Inc. and The University of Kansas. The terms and conditions of that License Agreement apply to my use and are incorporated into this Agreement. To obtain a copy of that License Agreement from the University of Kansas, send a request to licensing@ku.edu.
2. Neither I nor the University of Kansas own the Software or any copies thereof which are being provided to me.
3. The Software is the copyrighted property of SAS Institute Inc. The University of Kansas licenses the Software and annually pays a license fee to enable it to make a limited number of copies available for use by employees, faculty and registered students. I agree to use the Software for academic purposes only and understand that any commercial or profit-making use of the Software is strictly prohibited.
4. I understand that I am to inform IT Fiscal Services (contact information below) if my intention is to use this copy on a second computer.
5. I will not modify, reverse assemble, reverse engineer or decompile the Software.
6. I will not make copies of the Software for distribution and will not permit access to the Software by others.
7. I understand that there is an annual fee for renewal of the license from October 1 through September 30 of each year. The annual fee covers includes any updates.
8. If I violate the terms of this Agreement, the University of Kansas has the right to take disciplinary action against me and SAS Institute Inc. has the right to take legal action against me.
9. When I am no longer employed by the University of Kansas or when requested to do so, for any reason, by SAS Institute Inc. or the University of Kansas, I will return my copy of the Software to the appropriate official of the University of Kansas and delete any copies resident on hardware within my control that are not located at the University of Kansas' academic or administrative premises.

My signature below indicates that I have read this Agreement, understand it and accept it's terms. This form must be printed, signed, and returned to IT Fiscal Services (contact information below).

Please fill out the departmental payment or personal payment section as appropriate. If your department is paying for your license, IT Fiscal Services will invoice the department directly.
