Welcome to the website for the CBFRS/CBCAP Peer Review process in Kansas. As a grantee, your agency is required to participate in the peer review process.
FRIENDS National Resource Center serves as the technical assistance provider for peer review in CBCAP. For general information about peer review, you can view their overview presentation and report.
The Kansas Peer Review Model was designed to provide your agency with useful information while also understanding the time constraints you face. The model has two phases, a preparation phase and an action cycle. Click here for an overview of the components in each phase.
Through this website, you will be able to find information about the peer review process, register to use the web-based data collection system used for peer review, and complete the required peer review surveys.
You will be responsible for selecting three to five members for your Peer Review Team from the following: staff, supervisors, family representatives, board members, consumers of services, direct service providers, and project administrators. At least two additional members from a partner agency will complete the team. Members of your Peer Review Team should be included among the individuals you select to complete the peer review surveys, if appropriate. Your Peer Review Team will review your agency’s preliminary report and attend the site visit to discuss survey results.
