An intensive day of writing without distractions in a pleasant space conducive to clear thinking. One-on-one sessions with a research librarian or writing consultant are available, as well as the following workshops: "APA Citation and Style Guide" and "Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Formatting".

Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Formatting: This workshop will teach you quick solutions for creating your title and acceptance pages, inserting properly formatted page numbers, captioning tables, and more. If youre just starting out, you can build your own template for future use. Specific workshop topics include general information about the thesis/dissertation process, content order, title and Acceptance pages, page numbering, building an automatic table of contents using heading styles, generating a table of contents, captioning figures, equations, tables and more, embedding fonts, converting to PDF. APA Citation and Style Guide: This workshop will teach you the basics for citing with APA style at the graduate level. You will learn about tone, writing style, verbs, punctuation, formatting, paraphrasing, direct citations, the reference page, citing websites, tables, and citing a source within a source.
