Kansas Food: What We Eat, Who Produces It, Future Trends, and Legal Developments (Workshop)

The Environmental Law Society presents a panel of four local experts and advocates for Kansas agriculture. Paul Johnson from the Kansas Rural Center, Barbara LaClair from the Kansas Health Institute, Donald Stull from the University of Kansas, and Rhonda Janke from Kansas State University will speak about upcoming legislative activity in Kansas, and its effect on the environment and farmers. Nutritional guidelines, agricultural worker conditions, what changes will be needed due to environmental degradation will also be discussed.
