The 2013 State of the State - Kansas Economic Policy Conference will look at the impact of fiscal changes on communities. Keynote speakers for the conference are, Chris W. Courtwright, Chief Economist, Kansas Legislature; Carolyn Bourdeaux, Associate Professor, Department of Public Management and Policy, Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and Associate Director, Fiscal Research Center, Georgia State University; and Justin Ross, Assistant Professor, School of Public & Environmental Affairs, Indiana University. Chris Courtwright will deliver the morning keynote on the Kansas Tax Policy Shakeup: Implications of the 2012-13 Tax Debate. Carolyn Bourdeaux and Justin Ross will be speakers for the luncheon panel on the Long-Run Economic Impact of the Kansas Fiscal Experiment.
