KU Water Research Workshop (Workshop)

Join KU faculty and staff colleagues for a workshop focused on the development and support of a community of KU researchers interested in multidisciplinary projects involving water resources and sustainability. The program will open with remarks by Provost Jeff Vitter and Vice Chancellor Steve Warren, with a keynote presentation by Karen Flournoy, Director of the Water, Wetlands and Pesticides Division for Region 7 of the Environmental Protection Agency. Two intensive break-out sessions will help participants identify critical issues relating to water. Attention will be given to opportunities to form or join multidisciplinary research groups, sources of federal and foundation funding, and resources for proposal development.
