Hear wise lessons from the 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic jurist and theologian.
A native Persian, Pardis Haghdoost of Rockford, Illinois, shares her passion
and ancestral talent through the mystical poetry of Rumi accompanied by
her expert playing of the Daf drum. The Daf, a ceremonial instrument from
ancient Persia, is a large hand-held drum featuring jangling metal rings.
